10 POTATOES (CUT BITE SIZE)
2 CUPS OF PRE COOKED HAM
1/2 CUP BUTTER OR MARG.
1 tsp. RED PEPPER FLAKES
1 ONION (DICED)
1/2 CUP FLOUR
1 BAG SHREDDED CHEDDAR CHEESE
4 CUPS MILK
COOK POTATOES UNTIL ALMOST DONE, DUMP IN STRAINER, PUT BUTTER AND ONION AND PEPPER FLAKES IN SAME PAN, COOK UNTIL
ONION IS TENDER. PUT IN FLOUR, ADD MILK SLOWLY, MIXING TILL SMOOTH AND ADD POTATOES, AND HAM.
LET SIMMER , STIRRING FREQUENTLY , ADD MORE MILK TILL DESIRED CONSISTENCY. ADD CHEESE AND MELT , IT'S SOUP!
THIS MAKES A BIG POT, BUT WILL GIVE EXTRA FOR FREEZING FOR THOSE COLD DAYS COMING THIS WINTER. HOPE YOU LIKE IT.
