Dedicated to candles_501 and her Mom Grace

Candles has been a friend of the room but for a short time. She used to come in and say her Mom, Grace was sick but really loved music...was it OK if they just sat and listened? Of course they were invited to stay. June 14,2004 the room found out that Grace is dying and has just weeks to live. Let me tell you, it was a sad night in room 14 BUT it was also an awakening moment for ALL of us. The LOVE that poured from each and every one of us....it blew me away as I am sure it did for most if not all in the room that night.

Candles was overwhelmed by all the Goodness, offers of a shoulder to lean on and the many hugs that went out to them both.

If any of the regs came in and didn't know what had transpired, I am sure would have thought they were in the wrong room. I know I would never have believed it, had I not been in the room that night.

We now have a code for when things start getting out of hand in the room, as they do from time to time. Everyone just types JUNE 14 as a reminder of how much LOVE and good feelings took place that night.

It is with great sadness that I am telling this... Grace passed away June 17 2004 at approximately 10:30 p.m.EST

When we pass along that highway.........that takes us to our Lord........We are happier than we could ever have been here on this earth........We pray not only for Grace but for Candles as well, for it is she who is grieving........but Grace is happy, for she is with our Lord.....God bless you Candles and keep you as you keep Him in your heart.

It is also with a gladness that may be hard to understand...Grace is with her God...free from all her pain & sorrow. She is truly happy now and I am glad that the comfort and love from the room made her passing so much easier.
